Each The VIN Lookup report is a single, one-time payment for one VIN. Reports are generally non-refundable once generated and emailed, since the underlying provider lookups are billed to VIN Beacon at that point.
When we do refund
- Your payment succeeded but the report failed to generate.
- Your payment succeeded but the report could not be delivered to any valid email address after our retry attempts, and we're unable to resolve it another way.
- A duplicate or otherwise clearly erroneous charge.
We never charge you a second time to retry a failed report or a failed email delivery — a resend or regeneration on our side is always free.
How to request one
Use the support request on our Contact page with the email address you used at checkout, the VIN, and your order reference (included in your confirmation and report emails). We aim to respond within a few business days.
